About Osteopathy

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Osteopathy isn't about masking symptoms or pushing through pain. It's an evidence-based approach that's been scientifically shown to improve not just pain, but also anxiety, quality of life, and overall health.¹

The treatment focuses on understanding what your body is trying to tell you and addressing the actual problem—whether that's old injuries, scar tissue, chronic inflammation, or the lingering effects of stress and trauma.

Your Body Knows How to Heal When Given the Chance

Osteopathy recognizes that dysfunction can occur anywhere in your body. I use gentle techniques to mobilize every kind of tissue:

  • Bones and joints to restore proper movement

  • Fascia and muscles to release restrictions

  • Nerves to eliminate entrapment

  • Blood vessels and lymph to improve circulation

  • Organs to restore healthy function

After treatment, restored flow allows the body to do what it does best—heal itself.

Not Your Typical Quick Fix

Comprehensive Assessment

I look at how all your body's systems work together—bones, organs, nerves, circulation—to find and fix the real problem, not just treat isolated symptoms.

Whole-Body Treatment

From craniosacral therapy for your nervous system to visceral manipulation for organ function, I address the interconnected patterns that keep you stuck in pain.

Evidence-Based Care

Osteopathic Manual Therapy isn't some trendy new therapy—it's been helping people heal for over 150 years. ¹ Scientific research proves its effectiveness for everything from chronic pain and headaches to post-surgical recovery and women's health. ²

Osteopathic manual therapists do not make medical diagnoses, prescribe medicine, or perform surgery. Osteopathic manual practitioners are not Osteopathic physicians (DO), who are medical doctors trained in American osteopathic medical colleges. Osteopathic care is not a substitution for medical evaluation or treatment—it works alongside your existing healthcare to support your body's natural healing capacity.
